Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (CGEY) is one of the largest management and IT consulting firms in the world.
After the merger between Cap Gemini and Ernst & Young, the new company underwent a re-branding programme. This was proving to be a logistical nightmare. Seventh Wave Media in a partnership with Digital Marmalade was invited to pitch for the job of offering a global solution that would manage the delivery of the new look.
The approach adopted, was to work alongside Orbital (their chosen graphic design agency) and CGEY's marketing team and identify editable elements of the corporate collateral. This collateral included newsletters, brochures, folders, PowerPoint presentations, point of view papers, and conference stands, amongst others. These editable elements were then made interactive allowing colour changes, text amends, image selections etc to be made.
The project was delivered on a 4 CD-ROM Brand Pack, which included everything any member of staff or agency working for CGEY would need to produce branded collateral.
The CD-ROM also included an interactive image library containing new imagery specific to the ten service offers of CGEY's Financial Services Division. The project was so successful that we have been invited to roll the project out into all of CGEY's divisions.
Lesley Tulley, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Financial Services Marketing Manager, said:
"This was a delicate project to work on. We wanted to provide our staff with a tool that would enable them to produce documents that followed our new brand guidelines, but at the same time not stifle their creativity. This was exactly what was produced. Working with the team was an absolute pleasure - they were full of enthusiasm and far exceeded our expectations with their level of professionalism and creativity."
Production processes: Lingo programming, Image manipulation, CDROM authoring, 3D animation.
